Segmented Cybersecurity Homelab
Built with Proxmox, VLANs, OPNsense, Pi-hole, WireGuard, and Windows/Linux systems to practice realistic attack and defense scenarios.
Cyber defense graduate building real-world blue team, red team, and infrastructure experience through enterprise-style homelab projects and production IT support.
SOC workflows, VLAN segmentation, Proxmox, Security Onion, Active Directory, and practical cybersecurity skill building.
I am a recent graduate of Davenport University with a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Defense. I currently work in IT support, where I troubleshoot and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a production environment.
My focus is on incident response, defensive security, and practical infrastructure skills. I actively build and maintain a hands-on homelab using Proxmox, OPNsense, Security Onion, and Active Directory to design segmented networks and simulate real-world attack scenarios.
I take a learn-by-doing approach through building, breaking, securing, and documenting environments that reflect real enterprise networks.
Built with Proxmox, VLANs, OPNsense, Pi-hole, WireGuard, and Windows/Linux systems to practice realistic attack and defense scenarios.
Configured monitoring across lab traffic to learn alerting, network visibility, and SOC style analysis workflows.
Capstone project focused on layered defenses, segmentation, endpoint security, and deployable network architecture in Packet Tracer.
